Before we head out to the garden today, I want to express my deepest sympathy for all the thousands of people that have been devastated by Hurricane Harvey! The pictures are heartbreaking, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tragedy. We can pray and donate to reliable charities that will be meeting the needs of all those who have been affected…may God give you all peace and rest during this difficult time.
It doesn’t seem like it can really be the last day of August, does it? If you have been following along this summer you know that every other Monday, we have been partying in the garden with my Gardens Galore link-up party…a place for all things gardening! Monday, September 4, will be the last one for the summer season, and I am excited to see your last gardening posts of the season!
As the days of summer are waning, it takes on a whole new look…still beautiful and awe-inspiring. The colors become softer, the light cast different shadows, while butterflies and hummingirds are flitting all around! Let’s take one last summer stroll today…it’s the garden’s last hurrah!
