“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!”
Psalm 34:3
We all have those days. You know, the days that things do not go as planned, but you just have to laugh them off! And getting this tablescape together will certainly stand out as that in my mind. It brought a whole new meaning to the words “Memorial Day”. I had it all planned out…when we got home from church on Sunday, I was going to go out to the pasture and cut Queen Anne’s Lace to have as a part of the centerpiece. Not quite. Would you believe that when we got home, our pasture had been cut? No big deal, right? A little frustrated, but I can work with that. Well, after I got the table put together, my friend Carol and her mom stopped by to bring me an autographed copy of her recently published cookbook! And what a welcomed break from the heat! But what Carol did not know is that when you stop by while I am photographing for Tablescape Tuesday, you just might find yourself in the post!
So then came Monday…and a finicky internet. Yep, on and off all day Monday, I had internet issues…I wasn’t even sure if you all would see this table! So, I just had to laugh! And now I present to you the most Memorable Memorial Day table I think I have ever put together!
I hope y’all don’t get tired of tablescapes in the garden, I can’t seem to stay inside!
