Today’s post is comprised of quite a few pics made last week while strolling in the yard, and/or walking through the winter woods. Mostly stuff around the house that we came across in our everyday living. We had some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the past few days, so you will find a few extras. We don’t tire of the beauty of early morning and late evening!
“But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.”
Psalm 59:16
PJ couldn’t stay inside even though this was a cold morning. One of those mornings that makes you very much aware of the reality of such stedfast love which is proclaimed in the verse above!
The same sunrise at about the same time of day but from a vantage point on Sand Mountain. I was headed to work and literally stopped in the middle of the 4 lane highway and got a few phone pics. I slowed until the nearest traffic passed and hurriedly made a few before I had to move quickly to avoid getting struck from the rear. With no place to pull off, what else can you do? I know, you can keep moving and miss the sunrise!READ MORE

” Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love…
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins…
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
