A Blooming Pumpkin + A Fall Tablescape
Autumn means pumpkins! I love using them for a floral arrangement and to decorate the Sunshine Cottage porch!
Apples, Dahlias, & A September Table
Apples are perfect for an autumn table! How lovely and simple is a bowl of apples as centerpiece!
You all know that Autumn is my favorite season, it awakens all my senses!
The colors of the leaves, the taste of pumpkin bread or apple cobbler, a crackling fire, a warm sweater…Autumn bliss!
A centerpiece is filled with fall colors in a sentimental old pitcher from my paternal grandmother!
October is my favorite month with its cobalt blue skies, cool crisp nights, and mild sun-filled days. The afternoons are perfect to set an alfresco table in the garden!
As the days get shorter, the light becomes more magical in our garden!
Our Appalachian Foothills normally do not experience any autumn weather during September, but we begin anticipating its arrival!
Autumn and pumpkins go together like peanut butter and jelly!
RM often forages our woodlands for wildflowers to use in a flower arrangement! They are wild and free in the copper pitcher!
Blue and white is classic and it works for every season, even fall!
Using a throw as a table covering provides a cozy table. It has the look of a warm sweater!
Using a box is an easy way to arrange along with other elements like candles!
Fall is the season of harvest…cotton, soybeans, corn, pumpkins, muscadine, and scuppernong grapes!
The vintage Johnson Brothers ‘Harvest Time’ pattern always makes an appearance on a fall table!
An Autumn Centerpiece With Dahlias & Apples
Dahlias are a great stand alone flower with apples surrounding the base for extra color and texture!
With little effort, using what I had in my fall stash came together for a blend of light, fall colors, and rustic textures to strike a chord of autumn’s harmony!
Blissful autumn flowers filled a special pitcher that was a surprise from my RM!
I am sure it will appear on a table this fall!
